Bloomfield Citizens originally formed when Niagara Bottling began plans to building a water bottling plant in Bloomfield. Soon members of Bloomfield Citizens formed a new group, SaveOurWaterCT.org, to insure enough potable water to meet the needs of Connecticut's citizens, environment and industries of now and in the future and to push for a state water plan.
